Mother’s Day Greeting Card Handmade
If I could come up with diamonds
For every tear, you cried for me.
If I may want to hearth you sapphires
For each fact, you’ve helped me see.
If I may want to come up with rubies
For the heartache that you’ve acknowledged
If I should provide you with pearls
For the expertise which you’ve proven.
Then you’ll have a treasure, mom,
that could mount up to the skies
That would nearly match
The sparkle in your type and loving eyes.
But I don’t have any pearls, no diamonds,
As I’m certain you’re nicely aware
So I’ll come up with presents greater treasured
My devotion, love, and care.
Sometimes I might disenchant you
Just due to the fact I’m small
By leaving fingerprints of mine
On a table, chair or wall.
But normal I develop a chunk
And I’ll be large at some point
When all my tiny fingerprints
Have lengthy been wiped clean away
So hold those prints of my two arms
To help you to don’t forget
Just how large my hands had been
That time once I become small.
These little hands can give a hug
Pat-a-cake or throw a ball
They positioned smudges on the wall
Because I’m most effective just so tall
They love to clap or preserve your hand
Whenever you may play
But once I’m grown and a long way away
These little hands with you will live
I’ll choose a few plant life for my Mom.
To make a pleasing bouquet (select plant life)
I’ll deliver her a smile (smile)
And say Happy Mother’s Day.
